Pilates is a non-impact method of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates over 80 years ago. A practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, pilates is done on specialized equipment using spring-loaded resistance. With over 500 exercises, the pilates technique will keep you interested and challenged.

Mary Eugster

Certified Pilates Instructor
Mary's movement journey started with distance running, shifted to cycling and then to group fitness while raising her two daughters. She was forced to give up running due to a stress fracture resulting in a feeling of imbalance. At the time, loss of running was weighty; however there is always a silver lining and a loss can lead to new discovery. She continued on the journey, looking to create a strong mind-body connection to assist with stress reduction and improved fitness. Having discovered Pilates in a group environment, she has practiced a more athletic version of Pilates. With a recent ITT Pilates Mat and Reformer Certification from A Body of Work in San Francisco, she now approaches Pilates with a deeper understanding of movement and sound biomechanics. The training takes a deep dive into anatomy and focuses on the Pilates principles. Mary would love to hear about your fitness journey and how she can work with you to bring strength, flexibility and balance to your body and everyday.

Lauren Campbell

Lauren discovered Pilates while in college and was quickly drawn to its physical and mental benefits. While she used to see exercise as a chore, with Pilates she found a form of movement that she truly loves. After spending years practicing Pilates for fun, she decided to pursue her passion by becoming an instructor, earning her mat and reformer certifications through Jean Sullivan at ITT Pilates. As an instructor, Lauren loves helping her clients see progress and gain confidence on the reformer. Her classes offer a warm and encouraging environment to help her clients meet their individual goals.

Pilates has been my source of strength and fitness since my first experience in 2003 as an alternative to knee surgery. After helping me recover from a spinal injury in 2011, it became a priority in my life and now my profession. As a trainer with a strong background in bio-mechanics and movement anatomy, my sessions focus on alignment and proper mechanics to create strength, flexibility, posture, balance and a more capable body overall. I work with clients of all levels, and I am passionate about sharing with others the changes I've experienced as a result from Pilates.   I believe that through proper form, alignment and training, the body is capable of achieving anything the mind is set to do, and I love helping my clients get there. I am passionate about life, wellness, movement and fitness. Life is short, so I try to make the most of it and inspire my clients to do the same.
